Hey @Wikipedia I've been wiped from your pages. Deemed not notable enough. Despite having created one of the most popular web animations ever, directing music videos for famous artists, voice acting in hit TV series and games like GTA V, releasing music on an established label..
— David Firth (Salad Fingers) (@DAVID_FIRTH) April 30, 2022
David Firth is one of the most well known internet animators ever. If you don't know who he is, you are a zoomer who never used Newgrounds. He has also released several albums, two feature length films and music videos for artists like Flying Lotus.
He is the most notable person named David Firth and vastly outranks every other David Firth (of which two have Wikipedia pages) on earth in google results. Many less notable flash animators still have their pages.
A week or so ago, his page was completely deleted by a Wikipedia deletionist named Throast. The reason was because an article on Salad Fingers existed and for some reason having an article about a piece of art means that the artist is not notable (???)
Note:
When pages are deleted, it means the topic is de facto banned from Wikipedia forever. Yes, you can appeal deletions, but the people reviewing them are the people who deleted it and that would mean having someone admit they were wrong, which is fricking impossible. There is no criteria in which a page that is deleted can be restored, especially if the original page met all the requirements in the first place. This is why Chris Chan will never have a page on Wikipedia even if he gets out of jail and shoots the president in the head. He was deemed not-notable in 2008 and he will stay that way permanently.

The NYU student who took over my lease has owed me $100 for weeks, and when I asked him to pay me, he said he felt bullied and then sent me a Psychology Today article about gaslighting.
