Those who don't know me, I'm a Ukrainian mod of this subreddit, I live streamed on Reddit between 2020-2022 showcasing life in Kyiv, after the large scale invasion I've dedicated my time to supplying various units on the frontlines, as well as helping Ghostbusters project get off the ground, allowing us to take apart Russian tech and upgrade our capabilities through electronics and engineering (see my profile for more info).

As the topic suggests, a couple of weeks ago I got served a notice to update my military enlistment file and am now in the process of finishing my medical exam by 1st of May, after which I expect to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine if the doctors conclude I am fit to serve.

I might not be able to answer some questions for OPSEC/ privacy reasons but otherwise feel free to ask me anything.

Remember when @pizzashill (and some other nat ids) was talking about how Russia's military is trash and it would have no chance against NATO countries in a land war? Well, we're in luck since we can consult an actual historian on the matter of how well equipped an exemplary NATO country really is. He's a bong and mostly unbiased, leaning a bit against Russia in some of his recent vids in wording and how he presents information, but the information is pretty much always well-sourced and factual.

Brits always had the second best military in NATO. Right now they have no functional navy to speak of (2 carries with little support, will be destroyed in 2 missile strikes once they leave port), and 5-10 times weaker airforce and land army than Ukraine had PRE-WAR That's by their own admission, so you can divide that in two easily to get something closer to reality

Arguably Germany has a slightly "larger" army and airforce, but not by much. France is worse, and every other NATO country except the US can be swiped up as a rounding error.

But resident NATOids would have us believe Ukraine is on the verge of a breakthrough and victory. When even the ghouls in Washington are already doing the blame game and "tempering expectations" and Western MSM has completely changed tune from "Slava Ukraine, Crimea by summer 2023" to regular doom posting.

Ukraine will never recover from the losses it's having this summer. This was their one and only chance to drive the Russians out of their land and to show to their Western masters some meaningful results. Now the hohols will be forced to do total mobilization so they can even hope to keep the Russians at bay and from taking more of their land. The Russians are simply gonna keep slowly grinding Ukrainians with attrition warfare until the latter's combat capabilities are well and truly exhausted.

It really seems it's gonna be to the last hohol.
