So...I got a call today from one of the Jan 6 women I'm writing about. She started court ordered counseling last week & had been nervous. Today, she was thrilled to report that her new counselor is a QAnon follower and was "super excited" to finally meet a J6er. Not good.

Which is actually a torture technique... mock executions are definitely cruel. Withholding the date of execution until the day of is also cruel. Denies people the right to come to terms with the end of their life.

It always makes me uneasy when people say we should treat criminals and murderers as less than human just because they are in prison.

You have a highly compromised moral compass, your only motivating factor here is revenge.

Victims of heinous crimes are just that: victims. Inflicting the same thing on criminals isn't justice; it's vengeance.

I read about that recently. I can't imagine that amount of anxiety for years.

Not really drama so much as a term I heard recently when a girl said she had RSD. Having never encountered this word, I looked it up and seems like it's a term used to describe feeling extremely bad when rejected, except of course now it has a “diagnosis” type sounding label, and people with adhd say it's different for them, it's a disorder.

The funny thing is that a good way to frick with overly sensitive self-diagnosers is to deny RSD exists.
