I remember posting a review of almost every Kim Ki-Duk's movies and dramatards were like "huh? who?". That's when I knew the dramatards were deeply uncultured and in desperate need of my guidance.

The Baby's Room - this is a TV movie but don't judge a book by its cover. It has a pretty unique world building and was engaging throughout. It is Spanish so there's bound to be some screaming of EL DIABLO in there but that's to be expected.

Ghostwatch - a movie that aired on British TV and gave the bongs quite a scare. This movie presented itself like as a live TV program that viewers could call in and there was no indication that it was a movie. Bongs were pissed off and one man took his own life after seeing the show.

Creepy - well, it's a creepy movie and very weird too. Hard to explain it.

Satan's Slaves - I thought this movie copied Hereditary but then, I noticed that it was released before and it's also a remake of an old Indonesian movie.

Séance - Another TV movie. If you like that depressive dark atmosphere from late '90s Japanese horror movies, you will love this.

Папа, сдохни / Why Don't You Just Die - one of my favorite Russian movies. Incredibly entertaining from the beginning to the end. Won't spoil anything.

The Medium - for lovers of the Wailing. Written by the same person but directed by Thai director and takes place in Thailand. I love seeing folk religions and stuff like that. Shit gets hard to follow so pay attention.

Cold Skin - if you wanted a tower defense game version of the Lighthouse

Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes - those who think Interstellar was too complex shouldn't watch this movie

Murder Death Koreatown - I still don't know how much of this movie was fiction and how much was the main white character actually harassing a bunch of Asians while exploiting an actual death for this movie

The Door - watching lesser known movies is just making me realize the stuff that I love has been done before lol Ain't no way the creators of the German TV show Dark have not seen this movie. It also has Mads.

Tale of Tales - so glad I stumbled upon this movie. The cast is not even some nobodies. How did this movie have no publicity. I have no idea. It's very different and I loved it.

Villains - another movie with pretty well known cast but I discovered by accident. Quite good.

Dead Set - technically, a mini series but who cares. Bongs do zombies right.

Au-delà des murs - another mini series but it's basically just as long as one movie. Closest thing you will ever get to House of Leaves

Butterfly Kisses - not a regular found footage movie and spoilers alert. The director died in the same way as one of the characters did in the movie. It has some genuinely spooky moments too.

The Incident - I prefer the first half but the premise makes it worth watching imo

Viy - This movie aged like a fine wine. CCCP 4eva muah

Occult - For Noroi: the Curse enjoyers.

Angst - best dog ever

Deadstream - imagine a streamer you hate and pretend this is him suffering

A Classic Horror Story - I really enjoyed this but some really hated this. So, I don't know. Find out for yourself. I think the atmosphere and the story is unique enough.

When Evil Lurks - since this just came out I cannot gauge if this is becoming known or what but gonna put it here because it's amazing and you should watch it ASAP.

I've been waiting for you r-slurs to notice this site, but seems like the @NewMoon thread wasn't enough, and maybe it's because you're like me and need a detailed guide in understanding how to fill out three whole boxes. Click this link, give it a federated account or your lmao420bussy email, and get started:

• Step one: write your low-effort lyrics. It's best if these are derivative and terrible. Do not put thought into them. It will be less embarrassing if you just get drunk and do this step so that you can forget all about it. You can also have AI generate it right there on the page, but at a certain point you're just doing this.

• Step two: create your genre and title. Unlike what I have here, it's best if you actually choose a real genre, lest it just default to "current year pop". Your song title doesn't affect the song (as far as I can tell): you can use this as a quasi notes-field.

• Step three: Get told by the site that your edgelord dumbass lyrics are verboten, and feel shame that you thought a 2024 online AI service would make this song. If you're fricking stupid (you are), you will get this a lot, because you're fricking stupid.

• Step four: Alter your lyrics with homophones. It's best if these are real homophones, but that's not always possible, so you can approximate the words you need as well with phonemes.

• Step five: Disappointment. Keep in mind is that 9 in 10 generations sound like shit, as well as the tenth. Unlike furry porn commissions or naked images of Taylor Swift, Suno.ai is resounding, reverberating garbage. Your song will be, at best, only as good as or slightly better than modern pop music.

You can also stick "[piano intro]" or "[guitar solo]" on different lines, and 1 in 3 times it will listen! Wow! (It will never listen to "[cowbell solo]", though )

The spoken-AI is fricking stupid, though, and definitely isn't referring to any IPA dictionaries or anything, so while you'll absolutely have to change your racist death metal song lyric from 'crush his fairy skull under my cheap Chinese boots' to 'crush his ferry knee under my cheap Chai Knees boots', you'll also probably have to change words like 'documentary' to 'document dairy'. Its failure to pronounce real words isn't extremely common, but it's present enough to annoy you.

If you're working on an epic (as I well have come to understand), you'll also find that for every additional minute you tack on, your masterpiece about brap ranching will sound more and more like butt (which doesn't normally match so well thematically). If it starts sounding like a dialtone, you're probably working too hard on your slop. You'll also get backward vocals and nonsense sometimes (as what happened on Disenfranchise Women, and it's hard to just say you're a Beatle-tier genius when it's happening all the time).

The great thing about the service is that it does its best to fit your lousy lyrics into something reassembling prosody, no matter how little you try. Give it the back of a shampoo bottle, and it will rap its little Will Smith-sounding heart out. Give it the ardrama copypasta, and it will sound as good as any real reggae song ever does.

And one final note: locally save what you like often. The site actually sucks a lot (no cropping, no notes, no deletion), and when you have six whole pages of song-clips entitled 'White Women Have S*x (with Dogs and Cats)', you're going to get lost quickly. Sharing clips to your unamused friends is also a pain, if you don't upload them to YouTube: every link is "app.suno.ai/song/gibberishgibberishgibberish", which makes it hard for me to tell what songs about my dad I've already sent my parents.

My name @sneedman, but I have also existed within the dramaverse as @acebarbieboy. I'd like to come clean today, explain how I utterly fricked up my life, and give a cautionary tale to any even vaguely thinking of walking in my footsteps. My life is so destroyed at this point that the only solution is suicide.

THE GENESIS OF A DREAMER

As a child, I've always loved literature and reading. It's something that hasn't changed much, and I still voraciously read. When it was time for me to enter university, I did what everyone told me the smart choice was - study computer science. But I was also studying English at the time and I loved it.

I ended up majoring in English and dropping computer science. I didn't know it then, but this was the beginning of the end. I studied with passion, and had my postgraduate studies funded through scholarships. After getting my Masters, I started my PhD.

It was at this point that I paid attention to the fact that I'd need a job afterwards. No problem, I'll just become a lecturer! So the job applications began :)

MENTAL ILLNESS

I should reveal at this point that I've struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life. I've been on and off antidepressants and I've got fricking degenerate self-harming coping methods. They come and go, and during the worst times, I can get very absurd ideas about life and reality.

Sometime in 2022, I had one of those moments. In response, I cut off all contact with everyone I knew online, moved cities in real life, and resigned myself to a life of complete isolation. I was not done with my Ph.D. yet, but I was in my final year (I thought), and I no longer needed to be at the university in person. I had a job too. It didn't pay much, but it was enough for me to support myself.

The plan? Save up money for about a decade, then retreat to a life of isolation in the woods after establishing a homestead that is fully self-sufficient.

ASEXUALITY AND INCELDOM

I am very ugly, extremely dark, short (5 foot 2), and socially awkward. During my time studying English, I learned about gender theory, feminism, and queer theory. It was wonderful to learn about asexuality. The label fit me perfectly, and for years I wore it without question.

It was only this year, after some distance from university, that I discovered the bitter truth - I am not asexual. I am a very lonely incel. Unfortunately, there is no escape from inceldom from this position. No woman in the universe wants anything to do with a 5'2 mentally ill poor black man.

AFTER DISASTER

After my "live in the woods" delusions wore off, I realised I'm looking at a life of the following: no wife, no children, no family, no love, no intimacy. The darn asexuality meme snatched my 20s away from me. I also have no friends and I live in a city where I know nobody. This is what I wanted, right?

Here's the thing - lecturer jobs don't exist anymore. Less than 10% of PhDs will get academic positions, and the rates of tenureship are even lower. Even if you're a stellar student, the odds of you actually making it into academia are so low, you might as well aspire to be a celebrity. If you have mental illness, are a brainlet, are incapable of networking, then you're REKT.

During my year of insanity, I produced no academic articles. I also fricked off my supervisor and made no contact to build any academic relationships. The result? Countless job applications to academics positions to no avail. To be clear, the jobs themselves do not exist, and when they do exist, I am facing competition as stiff as a boner.

Here's the zinger - my fricking PhD thesis got rejected and now I have to spend an additional year on it. Of course, I have to pay for this additional year because I no longer have funding so now I am paying for a qualification I know will not serve me at all.

WHAT DO YOU GET IF YOU STUDY ENGLISH

You will not become a lecturer. You will not become a famous writer.

You will be pushed to your limits emotionally to earn a useless qualification. If anything happens to you during your post-graduate year - let's say a family member dies, you fall ill - it's over. You'll fall behind in publications and YOU'LL NEVER CATCH UP.

You will be exposed to ideologies that will turn you into a firehouse of "social justice" and you will alienate people in your life with your self-righteousness. It will warp your self-identity, and you will struggle to develop normal relationships with women. You will be forced to write and say deeply racist things.

You will be poor. You will be depressed. You will regret it severely. Nobody gives a shit about your English PhD. You offer no value to the world.

I fricked up so badly. I was literally studying computer science. Had just one fricking year left. And I decided to switch to English. Now I'm a poor, lonely, shameful incel with no hope in life or reason to live. I'm so ashamed of the squandered opportunities I had, the sacrifices my parents made just for me to become absolutely nothing in this world. I can't show my face and I know what the next step is. I'm afraid of it - nothingness is so horrible - it but I can't bear life any longer either.

It's beyond over. The only choice now is whether to pick the rope or overdosing via trepeline.

• Now he wanted 1 million karma. He messages Gallowboob for advice. Now he is locked in.

• It took almost a year to reach 100k karma. Another 6 months to 200k. But now it only took 6 days to get to 300k.

• He got every reddit award now. Some guy gave $175 worth of awards

• In September 2020 he reaches 1 million points after only 47 days of grinding. It was quite fast.

• Arnold Schwarzenegger even replied to one of his posts, but he didn't really know who Arnold was

• Now the American election is coming up. He's an Italian kid so he knows nothing about it, but he realizes reddit hates Trump so he starts posting anti Trump memes. They do well. He learns about more American politicians and which ones reddit hates so he can get more karma

• By the end of 2020 he was over 2 million karma.

• He joined a groomercord some Indian guy made called Redditors United where top karma accounts could share advice. He considered them idols, but later realized they were mostly "16 year old Indians with way too much free time. Just like me."

• He still wanted to grind to 10 million karma. He now posted 100 times per day at regular intervals.

• Time was not a problem since he had online school and could keep Google meet open while posting to reddit.

• He made a google spreadsheet to track his progress and aimed for 30k points a day or 1 million a month.

• By his 14th birthday he reached 5 million. He basically just spammed posts now and at one point was averaging 90k points per day. By May 2021 he reached 10 million karma after "5 months of grinding with no breaks."

• But this was starting to negatively affect his school work so he had to take time off reddit to focus on algebra

• He came back to reddit. Now he wanted to be number 1. The target was 38 million "set by /u/CheetahSperm18, a porn addicted American man who posted naked anime girls everyday."

• Someone gets suspicious and sees that this zoomer posted at almost the same times everyday. They assume he's a bot so he gets banned from the /r/BotDefense system. This banned him from 3k subs.

• Undeterred he carried on eventually reaching 25 million karma.

• Now he was back at in person school so he would run home when it finished and spam reddit with more posts. During this time he got banned twice. But appealed them successfully.

• The start of 2022 was great because Putin invaded Russia so now he could spam Zelensky.

• But he notices his karma started slowing. He was banned from too many subs. Had to focus on school. So he took 3 months off.

• He claims now is when he learned python and made a bot to automate his posts. Posting 360 times a day.

• People got mad. Someone reports him and reddit permanently bans him for content manipulation. Other big accounts got banned as well.

Now he was free to touch grass and just posts to his youtube.
